I remember my mother singing this song to me as a child when I had nightmares or a hard time getting to sleep. It’s been one of my staples for singing it to Russell Jr. as part of our bedtime routine but it was so cool to walk into the living room the other day as my parents were visiting and hear “Nana” singing it to him as he fell asleep in her arms.
